As reported by Multichannel News and Market Watch, Merry Christmas Drake and Josh got really high ratings. 8.1 million viewers tuned in to the premiere. The movie beat out the iCarly movie, iGo To Japan which got 7.6 million viewers. The week it premiered it was at the number one spot compared to all the other kid and teen programming. It also came in third place in the same category for the year of 2008. The two programs that got first and second were Fairly OddBaby (8.8 million) and Disney Channel's Camp Rock (8.9 million). The Drake Bell Street Team is going to hold an aftershow chat for Merry Christmas Drake and Josh on December 5, 2008 at 10:00pm. You do not need to be a member of the street team to participate in this chat. If you don't watch the movie you can still chat, but be aware that there may be some spoilers. Drake and Josh also recently did an interview with ET, going behind the scenes of the movie.

On December 4, Drake, along with Josh Peck, is going to be on The Today Show. They are going to help collect gift donations from the show's 15th Annual Holiday Toy and Gift Drive. If anyone's interested, some of the other celebrity guests that are going to help out throughout the month of December include Matthew Broderick, Heidi Klum, Kevin Bacon, Emma Watson, Kristin Chenoweth, Emma Roberts, the members of Fall Out Boy and many more. Drake and Josh also did an interview with the New York Post about Merry Christmas Drake and Josh. Also, I made some slight changes to the sidebar. I think it looks a lot better now.

Those of you who get the N (digital cable) are going to get a nice thanksgiving treat. From Thursday to Saturday the N is showing a marathon of Drake and Josh episodes from season 3 and 4. Drake posted a release date on the message board for his concert DVD.
Hey guys,
I'm thrilled to announce that we're releasing my live concert on DVD on December 16th! We shot it while we were in Mexico and worked overtime to get it done so you could get it this year. It includes 7 new songs including "Alone at the Disco" and "Sea Song." This is the only place to get these songs now.
I'm really excited to share this with you guys. I think it was one of our best shows to date. We added three new horn players to the band and just had a great time. You get a glimpse of backstage life and what else we all did in Mexico. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed our time there.
I know that it's late in the season, but it'll be worth the wait. Ask your local store about it and make you can get your copy. Tell your parents - they're always wondering what you want for Christmas and Chanukah, right?? I need your help to make sure people know it's coming out, so spread the word!
Oh and thanks for all the great questions. I'm going to try to get some answered soon!

I finally learned php headers and footers so this site is now all php! Everyone who clicks to a different page than the home page via search engine can finally access the rest of the site. If you haven't noticed yet, Drake now has his own section on the DBOMB. One thread is for his messages to us fans and the others are for any questions we have for him. Go check it out.

Those of you in Mexico City may be in for a treat. Drake's going to be doing a CD signing at MixUp Cuicuiclo from 7-9pm on Monday, October 13. However the signing will be limited to the first 250 people. So if you want to meet Drake, be sure and get there early.

All you international fans, listen up. If you live in Mexico you might finally be able to see Drake in concert where you are. Drake's got three new concerts coming up in October in Puebla, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. Because of this the Drake Bell Street Team needs someone who speaks both English and Spanish fluently for its new Mexican branch. Drake will also be having a concert in Richmond, Virginia on October 5, 2008 with Rooney. I added a new article to the Articles and Interviews section about Drake's new Jetta TDI so go check it out

One of Drake's upcoming movie, Unstable Fables: Tortoise vs. Hare, now has a set release date. It will come out on DVD on September 2 so be on the lookout for it. Also Superhero Movie comes out on DVD in three days if you haven't heard!!

Drake's been nominated for a Teen Choice Award in the category of Breakout Male. This is good because Drake's never been nominated for the Teen Choice Awards. You must be between the ages of 13 and 19 to vote and can only vote once per address per day. So click the logo in the Support Drake section and get voting. I've also added several new affiliates.

The cast of Nickelodeon's iCarly has made a music video for the theme song, "Leave It All To Me". And since Drake co-wrote it, it's only fitting that he's going to be in it with them. The video will air next Saturday, May 24, around 8pm.

Superhero Movie comes out on DVD on July 8. The special features include commentary by writer/director Craig Mazin and producers David Zucker and Robert K. Weiss, deleted scenes, an alternate ending, Meet the Cast featurette, The Art of Spoofing featurette, and an unrated, extended version of the film. Drake is also starring in a few more new films but the release dates have not yet been confirmed.

TV news!!! Drake will be will be on The View on Thursday, March 20 at 11:00am ET. He will also be on TRL on Tuesday, March 18 at 3:30pm ET. Besides promoting his new movies, he's going to be doing a stunt with some fans on TRL. If you are between the ages of 16-26 and want to be a part of this, send a message to trlcasting@mtvstaff.com with DRAKE in subject line along with your full name, phone number, age, and why you're such a big Drake fan. I've also seen the Superhero Movie trailer on TV yesterday so be on the lookout for that - it's slightly different than the online trailer. Nickelodeon's added some more KCA categories including Drake's second one, Favorite TV Actor if you haven't noticed.

It's KCA time again and Drake's been nominated for favorite male actor and favorite TV show.
